Edward Farmer is a British composer, conductor and orchestrator for Film & Television. A graduate of the Royal College of Music, Edward has worked on a wide range of projects, writing solo or in collaboration with other composers and musicians. His recent projects include sci-fi feature Beyond Existence dir. Schuman Hoque,The Crown (Season 3) [Netflix], Venice Film Festival nominated Kingdom Come, The Dark Crystal [Netflix], Temple [Sky / Hera Pictures], Birds of Prey [Warner Bros], Shallow for Emmy award-winning William Bridges, Race Across the World commissioned by EMI, The World's Most Extraordinary Homes (BBC/Netflix), Bridgerton [Netflix], SAS Red Notice (Lionsgate).
An experienced orchestral conductor in both studio and live settings, Edward has worked with London Philharmonic Orchestra, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Budapest Festival Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of London and some of London's finest session players. He has also written music for the Royal Opera House, West End Theatre, and was nominated for the European Soundtrack Award at the Soundtrack Cologne Festival.
Ed grew up in Yorkshire, and is now based in London.
