Edward Farmer is a composer for film and television whose work spans major motion pictures, high-end television drama and award-winning factual programming. His music has reached global audiences across streaming platforms, major broadcasters and cinemas worldwide.

 

His recent composing credits include Shipwrecked: Nightmare at Sea (Netflix/Raw TV), The Railway Children Return (Studiocanal), Countdown to Abdication (BBC Studios), multiple seasons of DNA Family Secrets (BBC), Kingdom Come (premiered at the Venice Film Festival). His music has featured in Race Across the World (BBC), 500 Miles (dir. Morgan Matthews), and Todd Komarnicki's Second World War drama Bonhoeffer.

 

Critics have responded warmly: "Ed Farmer's big, enjoyable score," EMPIRE, and "a tremendous score… an excellent introduction to the music of Edward Farmer." Movie Music International. He was nominated for Breakthrough Composer of the Year at the Movie Music UK Awards.

 

Widely trusted across the industry as both creative voice and a skilled member of the music department, Edward has also worked as an arranger, orchestrator and conductor on some of the most high-profile productions in film and television. His recent music department credits include Project Hail Mary, Masters of the Universe, Bridgerton, The Crown, Enola Holmes and many more.
