Music Department Bio
Alongside his work as a composer, Edward Farmer is an experienced arranger, orchestrator and conductor.
His orchestration credits span major studio films, international streaming series and high-end television drama.
Recent projects include Project Hail Mary, Masters of the Universe, Enola Holmes, The Crown, and many more.
Among his arranging work, Edward wrote the musical arrangements and produced new recordings for the opera scenes for Bridgerton Series 1–3 — in which he also appeared on screen as conductor — as well as arrangements for Queen Charlotte, Great Expectations, See How They Run, and Todd Komarnicki's Second World War drama Bonhoeffer, where he recreated the sound of Louis Armstrong and his Hot Five.
His concert and recording work includes arrangements for Decca's Bond 25 album, recorded with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Abbey Road, and a concert suite of Martin Phipps' music from The Crown, performed at the Kraków Film Music Festival.
